Spotlight Series is an intimate live music performance series which showcases local original Northern Territory singer/songwriters at the much loved Darwin City live music venue Happy Yess.
These nights aren't just for the artist to be heard, but to be deeply listened to.

Kathryn Ezzy - A multi-talented, multi-instrumentalist making a name for herself as the bass playing front woman of Kathryn and the Overbytes. Trained in classical piano, Kathryn is a music teacher who was nominated for the Northern Territory Young Achiever Awards.
David Garnham - The charismatic and much-loved David Garnham recently returned to the Top End, after some several months in the central deserts of Australia. His boots are dusty and he's picked up a story or two to tell. David shines in this format and provides the guaranteed banter that makes these nights so special.
Lilly Sideris - A stunning artist with an amazing voice, backed up by her guitar and/or violin, her sound is delicate, beautiful and captivating. Find out more by listening to the stories behind her songs.
Performances take place at the much-loved Darwin City live music venue Happy Yess, and feature three acts per show performing original works and sharing their stories behind the songs. It’s a great opportunity for audiences to get to know the talented musicians in an engaging, intimate and memorable way.
This songwriter project is not just open to singer/guitarists. Happy Yess prides itself on diversity and this series continued their legacy of showcasing the diverse genres of the Northern Territory music scene, including some acoustic hip-hop as well as some in-language songs from First Nation musicians.
